Paul Loflin, Ph. D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist,  obtained his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of New Mexico in 1998. He is licensed in the state of Texas.  He has experience in assessment with adults, adolescents and children in inpatient, outpatient, community mental health and rehabilitation-facility settings. He specializes in neuropsychological screening and psychological evaluations to clarify diagnostic issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dementia, mental retardation, autism and personality disorder) and has training and experience in forensic evaluations to determine competency to stand trial and capacity for self care. He tests in English, Spanish and French. His approach to psychotherapy is cognitive-behavioral and humanistic.

Dr. Loflin received pre-doctoral training in forensic psychology (1996-1997) at Atascadero State Hospital in California. He has 5 years of work experience in the determination of developmental disabilities, including autism-spectrum disorders and mental retardation.  Research interests have focused on differences in acculturation, language, self-concept and personality, especially among Mexican-and Anglo-Americans. Dr. Loflin is currently providing neuropsychological screening evaluations at rehabilitation facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  He provides psychodiagnostic evaluations and supervision at Dallas Sigma Counseling Services.

Franz Klutschkowski, Ed.D., LPCs  has worked in the area of counseling since 1994.  Dr. Klutschkowski graduated from Wichita State University, Wichita Kansas with a major in psychology.  He completed his master’s thesis relating to problem school children within the major large cities of Kansas.  He moved to Texas in 1994 and worked with institutionalized juvenile delinquent children and their families until 1990, with the Texas Youth Commission.  During this time, he acquired a substantial amount of experience in counseling (including drug abuse counseling), testing, and family therapy.  He later went on to work for the next 10 years with children and adults who had developmental disabilities.  During this time, he completed and published a significant research project relating to weight loss. 

He earned his doctorate degree in the area of counseling from Texas A & M University in 1992.  His doctoral dissertation involved a national, three year study concerning drug abuse treatment in the United States, which was published and has contributed to the training standards of drug abuse counselors.  Dr. Klutschkowski is semi-retired, teaches Psychology for the North Central Texas College, has a private counseling practice in Gainesville, Texas, and is a consultant for the Dallas SIGMA Counseling Group.  He is licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist.  He is also a Nationally Certified Psychologist.  Dr. Klutschkowski is an immigrant from Germany (1952), is a naturalized citizen of the United States, has been married for 40 years and has two adult children

 

Stella Maciel, Psy. D., is a graduate of Harold Abel School of Psychology, Capella University in MN, where she earned a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Maciel is a psychology professor for Collin County Community College in Frisco, TX,  and works at Dallas Sigma Counseling Services in Dallas, TX., doing individual, couple and family psychotherapy. She has 16 years experience in the areas of mental health, counseling, and psychology. She specializes in working with individuals who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, fears and phobias, traumas, low self-esteem, and self-defeating behavior.  

 

 

Jessie A. Herrera, J.D., M.A., LPC-I attended Brown University and finished her B.A. degree at the University of Denver magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.  Jessie obtained her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law with honors after serving on the Texas Law Review staff.  Jessie received her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in 2009 and is currently pursuing her LPC. Jessie offers creative solutions in a warm and safe environment.  Jessie works from a person-centered and cognitive behavioral approach and treats couples,. families, and individuals.  Jessie works with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, family violence, loss and grief, and trauma.

 

 Biser Rangelov, M.A., LPC obtained his Masters Degree in Christian Counseling from Torch Trinity Graduate School of Theology, in South Korea, and Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas. Presently, Biser is completing his Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has worked in both Community Mental Health and academic settings. While living in Europe, Asia and North America Biser has provided psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family and group settings.  Some of his special interests are cross-cultural issues in therapy, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and healing from child abuse.  His therapeutic approach integrates multi-theoretical and multicultural interventions in therapy.  

 

SoJin “Jenny” Lee,M.A., LPC received her B.A. Degree from the Seoul Women’s University, in Seoul, South Korea, majoring Child Studies, which qualified Jenny as a preschool teacher. Jenny received a Master’s Degree in Child Psychology from Seoul Women’s University. Also, she received her second Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Forth Worth, TX.  Jenny is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Sexual Violence Counselor. She  has several years of experience in the areas of teaching elementary school children, and  counseling children, adolescents and adults.  She specializes in working with individuals who have family problem, children behaviors, anger management, traumas, low self-esteem, and self-defeating behavior.
